Modern DJI drones are significantly quieter than older models, and we always brief the venue and officiant in advance. During the ceremony itself, we typically operate from a respectful distance or altitude that minimises any noise or distraction. We've covered many ceremonies without a single complaint — discretion is something we take seriously.

We handle all airspace checks and liaise with the venue as part of every booking — that's included at no extra charge. As CAA licensed operators with A2 CofC and GVC certification, we can legally fly in most locations. If your venue is in a restricted zone, we'll identify this during the pre-flight check and discuss the options with you.

Your wedding happens once, so whether it's safe to fly is always our decision on the day — made purely on safety and CAA grounds, with wind (especially prolonged wind with rain or snow) being the main limit. Most conditions we simply work with: the aerial drone and a ground cinema camera capture your day come rain or shine. Only if we judge it genuinely unsafe to operate will we stand down — and in that rare case, your wedding is refunded in full. It's our call to make on safety, never a question of whether the day was sunny.

No — that's the whole idea. Skyline is a two-operator film team: one operator flies the drone for the aerial coverage while the other runs a ground cinema camera, capturing your vows, readings and speeches in full audio. Together that's your complete wedding film, with no separate videographer required. If you've already booked a videographer and only want the aerial perspective, our Aerial Only package (£799) is designed for exactly that — and we'll happily coordinate with your existing team.

Our main DJI drone captures wide establishing shots from above and around your venue — smooth, cinematic and sweeping. The AVATA 360 is a different experience entirely: it's a compact FPV drone that can fly through doorways, along corridors and through the ceremony room itself, giving an immersive first-person perspective. Most couples describe watching their Avata footage as feeling like flying through their own wedding. It's included in the Cinematic package and available as an add-on for Essential and Signature.
